Timings for Proceedings

Since Meridian Chapter frequently holds meetings in the private banquet room at a restaurant, we must pay particular attention to the duration of our proceedings so that we may keep the restaurant staff informed as to when our orders for dinner will be placed and when food may be served.

The timings given here are primarily for the benefit of our own Chapter members to aid in planning the agenda for a convocation, but may be useful for other Chapters as well.

These timings are for the ritual of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Oregon. The timings given here are for a proficient degree team including floor work. Allow for extra time if the team is not proficient.

Opening Royal Arch Degree (Full Form), 15 minutes.
Royal Arch - Labor to Refreshment, 1 minute 30 seconds.
Royal Arch - Refreshment to Labor, 1 minute 30 seconds.
Closing Royal Arch Degree, 6 minutes.
Closing Royal Arch Degree and Calling Down, 6 minutes.

Opening Mark Degree, 7 minutes 30 seconds.
Mark Degree, 1st Section (Prologue), 14 minutes.
