Meridian Chapter No. 60, Royal Arch Masons of Oregon

On Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 3:10 P.M. the members of Meridian Chapter U.D. Royal Arch Masons of Oregon conferred our second ever Mark Master Degree upon Brother Michael Lee Stokes.

We opened on the Royal Arch Degree with Larry Stokes as Excellent High Priest, Jeff Day as Captain of the Host, Tim Randall as Principal Sojourner, Dave Sherman as Royal Arch Captain, David Jones as Master of the Third and Second Veils, and Robert Garcia as Master of the First Veil. The Excellent High Priest declared the Chapter closed and a Lodge of Mark Masters opened for work, and the degree was conferred by:

We benefited greatly from the time we spent rehearsing the degree before we opened the meeting. Our degree work is improving.

Some of the brethren, including our newest Mark Master, went out for dinner following the Degree and had a truly wonderful time eating and discussing various items of interest.
