Masonic Symbolism in the Land of Oz

First Delivered: May 12, 2008 at Wayfaring Emeralds Lodge No. 213 in Eugene. Length: 10 minutes. Presented by Jeff Day.

This lecture discusses the symbolism found in children's book "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" as well as that found in the movie musical "The Wizard of Oz" and is suitable for presentation in a Lodge of Entered Apprentice Masons. Some additional points can be added to the Lecture if the Lodge is opened on the Master Mason Degree.

Masonic Mysteries in the Tabernacle of Moses

Available as of May 2008. Length: 10 minutes. Presented by Jeff Day.

This presentation considers whether the Ancient Israelite Tabernacle of Moses and Temple of Solomon had any real influence on the esoteric work of Freemasonry. This lecture may only be given if the Lodge is opened on the Master Mason Degree.

Third Ruffian's Soliloquy

Available as of May 2008. Length: 5 minutes. Music performed by Larry Stokes. Soliloquy delivered by Jeff Day.

A musically enhanced rendition of the Third Ruffian's Soliloquy from the Second Section of the Master Mason Degree. This program may only be performed in a Lodge of Master Masons.

Please note that this program has not been approved for use during the actual conferral of the Master Mason Degree, and must therefore be put on as a stand-alone program aside from a degree conferral.

Remember, many of our Open Programs are also suitable for use in a Lodge meeting.
